Turkey Has Not Set a Demand for Armenia to Reject Recognition of the Armenian Genocide: Rubinyan

Turkey has not set a demand for Armenia to reject the recognition of the Armenian Genocide. This was stated by Ruben Rubinyan, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly and Armenia's special representative for the normalization of relations with Turkey, in response to a written inquiry from Sputnik Armenia.

When asked if the statement about establishing relations with Turkey without preconditions includes a rejection of the recognition of the Genocide, Rubinyan replied, "Establishing relations without preconditions means exactly what it says: establishing relations without any preconditions from either side on any issue."
