The United Kingdom must understand that it needs to be held accountable for supplying depleted uranium shells to Ukraine. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of Russia, during a press briefing.

“This information is very sad. The British must understand that they will bear responsibility for this,” Peskov said.

Earlier, James Hippie, deputy head of the UK Ministry of Defence, announced that London had sent thousands of shells to Kyiv for Challenger 2 tanks, including depleted uranium, but does not monitor where the projectiles are being fired from.
