Stepantsminda-Lars Road Tunnel Temporarily Closed

The Devdoraki tunnel on the Stepantsminda-Lars road will be closed for all types of transport from April 29 at 00:00 until 06:00 due to renovation works. An alternative road adjacent to the tunnel will be in operation.

It should be noted that the length of the Devdoraki tunnel is 2 km, with a width of the traffic area being 8.5 meters. The tunnel was completed in 2018 and is located at the border of the Dariali and Devdoraki gorges. This section is the most dangerous on the Georgian-Russian border road.
