Some Officials Behaved Like Last Riffraff Towards Mothers of Missing Soldiers: Naira Zohrabyan

Former MP and political figure Naira Zohrabyan made a post on her Facebook page. She addressed the meeting with mothers of soldiers missing from the 44-day war.

“You will not digest this. Today, I met with the mothers of soldiers who went missing during the 44-day war. These mothers cling to every call and every look from a passerby, thinking, maybe someone will say something about my son. According to official figures, we have 309 missing soldiers after the 44-day war, and there is not a state institution left whose door these parents have not waited in front of for days, just so that an immoral aide could come out and explain to them how a restrained parent should behave. Meanwhile, another official comes to the parents and asks, ‘What curse are you bringing upon my house that something might happen to me?’

There is not a single embassy left in Armenia that these mothers haven’t approached, even for a small inquiry about what happened to their sons and whom they should seek answers from, sitting in front of those doors for days. They only want one thing – to know what happened to their sons who fought to defend their homeland and where their sons are,” Zohrabyan wrote.

She announced that on Monday she would address the issue of our missing boys live. “I will name those officials who did not even consider it necessary to meet these mothers, while some treated them like the last riffraff. There have been only a few officials, 1-2, who behaved like human beings, that is, like homo sapiens. Their names will also be mentioned,” Zohrabyan wrote.
