Nikol Pashinyan and Charles Michel Discuss Actions by Azerbaijan

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has had a telephone conversation with Charles Michel, President of the European Council. This was reported by the office of the Prime Minister of Armenia.

The two exchanged views on the established geopolitical and humanitarian situation in the region.

Prime Minister Pashinyan emphasized that the actions of Azerbaijan in the Lachin Corridor aim to carry out ethnic cleansing in Nagorno-Karabakh and fully depopulate the region of Armenians.

The Prime Minister highlighted the importance of an adequate response from the international community to Azerbaijan's actions that undermine regional security, and the necessity for effective steps towards the unconditional implementation of the ruling of the International Court of Justice.

They also exchanged thoughts on the Armenia-Azerbaijan negotiation process, stressing the importance of persistent efforts to ensure stability and peace in the region.
