Russia Expels Norwegian Diplomats
The national radio of Norway has reported that ten employees of its embassy in Moscow have been declared undesirable individuals. They are to leave Russia, as informed by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the national radio.
The Russian Foreign Ministry has confirmed the expulsion of the diplomats, linking it to Norway's decision to expel 15 employees of the Russian embassy in Oslo, as reported by kommersant.ru.
According to the radio, Norwegian Ambassador Robert Kvillen was summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry on the morning of April 26, where he was informed about the decision to expel the embassy staff.
“It would have been a big surprise if they had reacted differently,” the diplomat stated.
