Photos: Gnel Sanosyan Welcomes Airplane That Conducted Test Flight from Yerevan to Kapan and Back

The Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures of Armenia, Gnel Sanosyan, welcomed the L410 aircraft that conducted a test flight from Yerevan to Kapan and back at the "Zvartnots" International Airport today.

The minister emphasized the importance of the conducted flight: “We attach great importance to this flight. It was a technical, test flight. Our pilots tested what was on paper with several approaches, landings, and takeoffs. To our delight, it seems everything went well, and the ideas that were on paper were successfully implemented in practice. This was the result of team effort, which was crucial. After this, there will be discussions about the results we have, what observations there are, and what analyses need to be made in the professional field. In the long term, of course, our goal is to organize regular flights after analyzing all this,” said the minister, adding that there are also plans to connect Kapan with several other airports, not just "Zvartnots."

It is noteworthy that today the L-410–UVP E20 passenger airplane, manufactured in the Czech Republic and designed for 19 passengers, successfully landed at Kapan's "Syunik" Airport at 10:58 AM Yerevan time. The flight included testing of airport approach schemes.
