Desperate Grandpa: Medvedev on Biden
Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev has commented on U.S. President Joe Biden's decision to run for re-election in 2024.
“Biden finally decided. A desperate grandpa,” wrote the politician on his Telegram channel.
At the same time, Medvedev noted that if Biden were re-elected, he would “create a fake nuclear briefcase” instead of deploying American soldiers, to avoid irreversible consequences.
Yesterday, U.S. President Joe Biden officially announced his intention to run for a second term in the 2024 presidential elections. “I am running for re-election as President of the United States,” Biden said in a video posted on the campaign's website on April 25.
Vice President Kamala Harris also announced her readiness to run alongside Biden for a second term.
Biden stated that every generation has moments when they must defend democracy, and now is that moment. This is how he explained his decision to run for re-election as President of the United States.
