Video: 'Traitor!', 'Get Out!'. Citizens Booed Avinyan During Speech

During the opening ceremony of the monument dedicated to the heroes of Operation Nemesis, Tigran Avinyan, the acting Deputy Mayor of Yerevan, faced backlash from some attendees who began chanting 'traitor!', 'get out!'. The citizens also shouted 'Unity with Artsakh' and booed.

It’s worth noting that the opening took place today in the fourth section of Yerevan's Circular Park, honoring the Knights of National Dignity: Solomon Tehlirian, Aram Yerkanian, Armen Garo, Grigor Merjanov, Ara Sargsyan, Avetik Isahakyan, Hrach Papazyan, Shahan Natali, Hakob Melkumian, Yervand Fundukyan, Misak Torlakyan, Arshavir Shirakyan, Arshak Yezdanyan, Stepan Tsaghikyan, and Artashes Gevorgyan, as well as Petros Ter Poghosyan.
