No Inspection Conducted at Yerevan's Levon Shant 4th School Following Bomb Threat, Says Narine Hovsepyan

The school received a notification that a bomb was planted, yet no organization responded or provided any security conclusions. This was reported by Facebook user Narine Hovsepyan: “Do we have a Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, an Emergency Situations Ministry, Police, Yerevan Municipality, or NSS? The school receives a notification about a bomb being planted, no organization came, and no security conclusion was made...”

In a conversation with Auroranews, the head of the parental council, Narine Hovsepyan, stated that it concerns the Levon Shant 4th basic school in Yerevan: “Our principal has requested an official letter in order to resume classes. No one came, no one checked; one of the police officers who came said it was false, to enter the school. I asked, what do you know, and he said they had been informed by the NSS.”

When Narine questioned how they knew it was false if no inspection was conducted, the police officer replied that his word should be sufficient.

In response to the incident, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs told Auroranews that the alert was false and they could not provide any further information.

It should be noted that the bomb threat has been dismissed by nearly all schools in Yerevan.
