We Urge Turkey to Acknowledge the Realities of the Past: EPP

The European People's Party (EPP), the largest and ruling political force in the EU, has made a statement on Twitter in connection with the anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.

“Today, we stand in solidarity with the Armenian people. It is our duty to honor their memory with dignity and to fight for justice. We urge Turkey to acknowledge the realities of the past and take steps towards genuine reconciliation, paving the way for a peaceful future.”
