Torchlight March in Armenia, Artsakh, and Many Countries Around the World

On April 23, leading up to the 108th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, the annual torchlight march organized by the Armenian Revolutionary Federation Youth Union commenced from the Republic Square, marked by the burning of the flags of Turkey and Azerbaijan. In keeping with tradition, the march concluded at the Armenian Genocide Memorial in Tsitsernakaberd.

This year, the march was themed "One Homeland, One Justice, One Path: A Struggle." Participants moved from Republic Square along Amiryan Street to Baghramyan Avenue, from where they reached Tsitsernakaberd via Kiyevyan Street. Dedicated to voicing the struggles of the Armenian people and commemorating the victims of the Armenian Genocide, the march ended with flowers laid in memory of the innocent victims of the Genocide.
