Azerbaijan is a Terrorist State, Says Tankian

“National pain remains in our collective memory.” American-Armenian musician and prominent member of System of a Down, Serj Tankian, has recalled the Armenian Genocide and addressed Azerbaijani aggression on his Instagram page.

“The awareness and genetic pain remain at the forefront of our collective memory. It continuously reminds us of the strong unity we must apply to achieve national prosperity,” he wrote in his Instagram stories.

Tankian also referenced the death of an Armenian serviceman caused by enemy fire at a position in Sotk on April 23, as well as reports of the Azerbaijani side establishing a checkpoint near the Hakari River bridge in Artsakh. “Azerbaijan is a terrorist state,” Tankian stated, adding, “Azerbaijan continues to impose its illegal blockade against Armenians by installing checkpoints.”
