Polish Weightlifter Sustains Hand Injury

During the ongoing European Championship in Yerevan, Polish weightlifter Jaroslaw Samoraj sustained a hand injury while attempting his next lift. He received immediate medical assistance. The athlete has opted out of subsequent lifts.

It is noteworthy that after the competition in the clean and jerk in the Men’s 109 kg weight category Group A, European champion Samvel Gasparyan is currently leading the event with a lift of 175 kg.
