Man Steals Neighbor's Gold Jewelry and Pledges it at Bank
On April 21, at 21:46, a 62-year-old woman from Gegharkunik province called the police operational management center to report that gold jewelry had been stolen from her apartment.
Police officers from the Gavar division, after conducting operational and investigative measures, found and arrested a 36-year-old man on Freeway Street in Gavar at 23:50, on suspicion of committing the theft. In custody, he confessed to stealing the jewelry from his neighbor's apartment.
He also disclosed that he had pledged the stolen jewelry at a branch of one of the banks in Gavar. The 36-year-old man and the relevant documents have been submitted to the Gegharkunik regional investigative department. An investigation is underway.
