Macron, Get Out! Restaurant Rating Plummets After Presidential Visit
The rating of the "Peña Pil Pil" restaurant in the commune of Pérols, located in southern France, has sharply declined following a visit from French President Emmanuel Macron. This information was reported by RIA Novosti, citing France Bleu.
Macron visited the Hérault department in southern France on April 2. During his visit, he stopped at the aforementioned restaurant to drink beer.
Just a few hours after Macron's visit, the restaurant's rating on Google fell from 5/5 to 1.6/5. The restaurant’s server, Vincent, told the media that the president's visit was a surprise for them. "We didn’t know he was coming. But we can’t afford to turn down the president of the republic or a minister," added the server.
During his visit to the Hérault department, the French President was accompanied everywhere by protesters chanting, "Macron, get out!" In the commune of Ganges, several hundred protesters awaited him, attempting to breach barriers set up near the entrance of the Louise Michel college to approach the French leader. The police were forced to use tear gas, and protesters began throwing eggs and potatoes at him.
