Powerful Explosion Occurs in Belgorod

A powerful explosion has occurred in Belgorod, Russia, according to Baza. Preliminary reports indicate that the blast hit a location on Vatutin Street.

The Telegram channel has published a photo depicting the damaged road. Emergency services and police have already arrived at the scene.

The explosion has damaged part of a house located on Shalandina Street. Fragments of the explosive have been found in one of the apartments, and residents have been evacuated. Several vehicles have also been damaged. According to various media reports, one of the cars was thrown onto a store roof as a result of the explosion's shock wave.

As of preliminary data, there are no casualties or injuries reported. Information from emergency services indicates that a wall of one of the apartments on Shalandina Street has been damaged.

Since April 11, 2022, a yellow level of terrorist threat has been in effect in Belgorod region, which has been repeatedly shelled.

Earlier, Belgorod Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov reported that since the start of the special military operation, 30 people have died from strikes in the region, and another 123 have been injured.
