Medvedev States Which Country is Russia's Eternal Enemy

The United Kingdom has been, is, and will be Russia's eternal enemy, stated Dmitry Medvedev, the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, while commenting on the imposition of sanctions against five Russian individuals related to the case of opposition politician Vladimir Kara-Murza.

The sanctions were imposed against Moscow's Basmanny Court judge Elena Lenskaya, who, according to British authorities, approved Kara-Murza's arrest, as well as against two investigators in his case, Denis Kolesnikov and Andrey Zadachin. The list of sanctions also includes two employees of the Federal Security Service (FSB) of Russia, Alexander Samofal and Konstantin Kudryavtsev.

“We couldn’t care less about their decisions. Britain has been, is, and will be our eternal enemy. At least until their vile and disgusting isle is taken by the wave created by the latest Russian weapons systems,” he wrote on his Telegram channel.

He added that “the belief of British degenerates in their exclusivity is great.” “This isn’t even about the specific ‘case’ but about their sacred confidence that this is a terrible punishment and that Russian officials will fall into hysteria about it. Nevertheless, it is evident that the outdated form (of a perverse British monarchy) and the ridiculous content (look at their last prime ministers: Boris Johnson, Theresa May, and that one, Sunak, I can’t remember his name) create very strange creatures in conflict,” Medvedev further stated.
