The Problematic Section in Tegh Has Been Reduced by Another 1.4 Kilometers: Pashinyan

In the Tegh community of the Syunik region, the problematic section has been reduced by another 1.4 kilometers. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this during a conversation with several media outlets in the National Assembly. This was reported by Sputnik Armenia.

"This means that that much border has been clarified. In other words, both we and the Azerbaijanis have a common opinion regarding this point that our border line runs through there. This means that the border guards of both Armenia and Azerbaijan are stationed a certain distance away from that border," Pashinyan noted.

According to him, the border guards of both sides have worked together and positioned themselves at a certain distance. He added that experience shows that when border guards work together, there are certain results.

Pashinyan also expressed hope that the problematic segment of 3.6 kilometers will also be clarified; however, until that happens, he cannot say that it has been accomplished.

It is worth noting that on March 30, the National Security Service of Armenia reported that the Azerbaijani side has again violated the agreements and has positioned itself 100-300 meters further ahead at several points, with reports indicating that, without waiting for previously agreed clarifications, Azerbaijan has begun to take positions and carry out engineering works in certain locations.
