The Date for Yerevan Mayor Elections Revealed

The elections for the mayor of Yerevan will be held in September, provided that no obstacles arise. This was stated by the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of Armenia, Gnel Sanosyan, during a session in the National Assembly.

“According to the law, they are scheduled for September. I believe that if no circumstances arise, which we all should discuss in the case they do, because it’s the law. I see no problem; the timeline is set for September, and we will proceed with the election,” the minister noted.
