Political Consultations Held Between Armenia, Iran, and India
On April 20, political consultations in a trilateral format were held in Yerevan between the foreign ministers of the Republic of Armenia, the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the Republic of India. The information was reported by the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The delegations were headed by Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Mnatsakan Safaryan, Head of the Southern Asia Department of the Iranian Foreign Ministry Seyed Rasoul Mousavi, and Head of the Territorial Division of the Indian Foreign Ministry Jitender Pal Singh.
During the meeting, issues related to economic and regional communication routes were discussed, and prospects for deepening cultural and interpersonal ties as well as trilateral cooperation in various fields were outlined. The parties agreed to continue consultations in a trilateral format aimed at strengthening cooperation.
