Call for Resignation Addressed to the Prime Minister is a Fatherly Encouragement Without a Timeframe: Karekin II
The Armenian Apostolic Church has addressed the issue of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's resignation, stating that it has issued a fatherly encouragement which cannot be limited by a timeframe. This was highlighted today by His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, during a conversation with media representatives at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.
“The fatherly encouragement is due to the need to overcome and address the ongoing situations and problems that have prompted the delivery of this message,” said the Supreme Patriarch. “Unfortunately, we see that the situation in our country continues to be concerning, with erroneous and unacceptable expressions regarding the status of Artsakh being voiced. Also troubling is the deepening disunity and hostility among our people, and here we have significant work to do. These issues can only be resolved by fully mobilizing our national potential,” noted the Catholicos during the discussion.
