17-Year-Old in Charbakh Hits Man with Car After Being Shot At

On April 14 at 00:15, an unidentified driver in a "GAZ-31105" vehicle hit 41-year-old Sarkis Airasian on Artashisyan Street in Yerevan, resulting in his death. A criminal investigation has been initiated.

Thanks to joint operational-search measures by officers from the Yerevan City Police Department and the Shengavit Division, it was determined that at the same time on April 14, Sarkis Airasian fired shots from a "Makarov" type pistol at a 17-year-old resident of Nerkhin Charbakh. Following this, the teenager ran over Sarkis Airasian with his "GAZ-31105" vehicle, causing his death, and then fled the scene.

As a result of explanatory work by criminal investigators, the 17-year-old presented himself to the pre-investigation body on April 18 and provided a confession. He has been arrested.

During the site examination, the pistol, three 9mm cartridges, and four bullet cases were found. The criminal proceedings are ongoing.
