Video: 2 Fire Crews, Aerial Ladder – What Happened on Mashtots Avenue?

Auroranews has received reports and video footage regarding the presence of rescuers near a building on Mashtots Avenue.

We contacted the Ministry of Emergency Situations to understand what was happening there. An official stated, “There is nothing to worry about. The smoke coming from the chimney created the impression of a fire. As per protocol, when an alarm is received, the rescue service does not check, but sends its fire crews to the scene, where they clarify the situation. This may explain the presence of the aerial ladder and two fire crews at the scene, causing some interest and possibly panic, but there is nothing to be concerned about.”
