The video was shared by Hayk Atoyan on Facebook. Lawyer Alexander Kochubayev told reporters near the police station that just as Aram Nikoghosyan was arrested for unclear reasons, he was also released without clear reasons.
“It is very good that at the early stage of the investigation, the investigative unit recorded the absence of a crime. According to preliminary information, no criminal proceedings will be initiated. At this moment, Aram Nikoghosyan has been fully released, and the investigative unit has made a decision to refuse to initiate criminal proceedings, which has been sent for approval to the prosecutor,” said A. Kochubayev.

Recall that an incident occurred during the opening ceremony of the European Weightlifting Championship. Designer and stylist Aram Nikoghosyan unexpectedly ran onto the stage, snatched the Azerbaijani flag from the hand of the flag bearer, and burned it in front of everyone.

It is worth noting that the photo shows Aram Nikoghosyan with an identification card, which suggests that he is a member of the team involved in organizational work, likely responsible for the clothing design of the show participants.

After the incident, Nikoghosyan was taken into custody and then released. No criminal proceedings will be initiated against him due to the absence of a crime.

Additionally, the designer and stylist Aram Nikoghosyan, who burned the Azerbaijani flag, stated that his action was exclusively the act of an Armenian man with honor. He sent a video message after being released from the police department.
