VIDEO: Water Cannons and Tear Gas, Situation in France

The situation in France remains tense. Reports indicate that while people are beginning to gather for protests in Paris, police in Rennes are actively using water cannons and tear gas against demonstrators.

It should be noted that the cause of discontent is the increase of the retirement age from 62 to 64. Many protesters are also concerned that the French government has essentially bypassed Congress to push this change through.
