Photos: Flags Have Become Trash Bags in Azerbaijan

Social media is filled with images showing how the national flags are treated in Azerbaijan. Two days ago, Azerbaijan recalled its weightlifters due to an incident that occurred during the opening ceremony of a weightlifting championship in Yerevan. The Azerbaijani side took this incident quite seriously. However, the citizens of this country demonstrate disrespect towards their flag right within their own borders.

After the Formula 1 races held in Azerbaijan, flags have also become trash bags.
