Guloyan on Discussions of a €300,000 Fine for Armenia

“Due to the incident of burning the Azerbaijani flag during the European Weightlifting Championship, Armenia has not been subjected to any financial penalties,” stated Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sport Karen Guloyan.

According to Guloyan, this is nonsense, and no monetary fines have been imposed.

It is worth noting that the European Weightlifting Championship is currently taking place at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex in Yerevan, where designer Aram Nikolaian burned the Azerbaijani flag during the opening ceremony.
