Car Accident in Syunik Province Involving Russian Soldiers Among Drivers and Injured
On April 16, a car accident occurred in Syunik Province. According to Shamshyan.com, around 3:10 PM, 41-year-old Sater S., a resident of Shirak Province, collided with a car driven by 19-year-old Hrach S. in the area known as "Nor Zanger" on the Goris-Stepanakert highway.
As a result of the accident, Sater S.'s passenger, 46-year-old Sergey S., a citizen of Russia, and Hrach S.'s passenger, 24-year-old Erik A., a resident of Syunik Province, were taken to Goris Medical Center with bodily injuries.
The Goris Investigative Department has initiated an inquiry regarding the accident. According to G. Shamshyan, both drivers, Sater S. and his hospitalized passenger Sergey S., serve in the Russian 102nd Military Base located in Armenia.
