Hungary Imposes Ban on Ukrainian Grain Imports
The Hungarian government has imposed a temporary ban on the import of grain from Ukraine. This announcement was made by the Ministry of Agriculture of Hungary.
Due to the lack of significant measures from the European Union to address the issues related to the supply of Ukrainian agricultural products at dumping prices, Hungary has stated it is "temporarily banning the import of grain and oilseeds from Ukraine, as well as certain other agricultural products," according to Minister of Agriculture István Nagy.
It is noteworthy that Poland has also taken similar steps earlier. According to Nagy, the ban will remain in effect until June 30.
