The representatives of the Yerevan municipality cut down trees again yesterday, this time on Sayat Nova Street in the city center, removing 60 trees. Despite the trees appearing completely healthy, the city authorities continue to assert that they have lived their life.

In early March, trees near the Cascade also met the same fate and have already been replaced with cherry blossoms. Previously, municipal authorities had announced that over 2,000 valuable trees over 10 years old would be planted in the city for the rehabilitation of Yerevan's green fund.
