Parents of Fallen Soldiers Spend Night Outside Investigative Committee Building
A group of parents of soldiers who died in the 44-day war spent the night outside the Investigative Committee building, blocking the adjacent Mamikonyants street.
One of the parents, Vahid Sahakyan, stated in an interview with 24news that the parents demand to be received by the Investigative Committee and to be informed about the status of the case against the police officers who used violence against them at the Yerablur Military Pantheon on September 21 of last year.
“No one came close to us, we spent the night talking with the police,” he said, adding that today at 3:00 PM, the 24 hours given to the Investigative Committee will be completed, after which the parents will announce further actions.
It is worth reminding that on September 21, 2022, parents of soldiers who died in the war attempted to block the entrance of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and members of the government and parliament to Yerablur, after which they were subjected to violent force.
