Video: New Developments in Iran as 47 Girls Poisoned by Chemical Gas
Students at a girls' middle school in the city of Saqqez, located in Iran's Kurdistan province, have been poisoned by chemical gas. Images shared on social media show a clash between parents arriving at the school and security personnel. As a protest, the Iranian flag hanging near the school was lowered, and slogans were shouted against the nation's leader, Ali Khamenei.
Footage from the scene showed that in addition to ambulances arriving, parents transported their children to hospitals themselves. It has been reported that at least 47 students have been hospitalized, with more than 20 in serious condition. No official statement has been made regarding the incident.
Currently, there is no clear information in the media about whether the poisoning was intentional or not.
