Cavusoglu on Azerbaijani Provocation in Tegh Village

Turkey's Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu discussed the so-called "Zangezur Corridor" and a recent Azerbaijani provocation in Tegh village during an interview with HaberTürk TV, where he made unfounded accusations against Armenia. The information was reported by ermenihaber.

"Ultimately, setting aside this tension, it is necessary to sign a comprehensive peace agreement and construct the corridors and roads that are also beneficial for Armenia, beneficial for all of us," he stated.

Addressing Iran's involvement in the matter, he said, "Iran previously had the idea of establishing connections through its territory to Nakhchivan. In fact, we support that as well. Because there should always be various alternatives. Being tied to one place is risky; alternatives need to exist. In other words, the implementation of this project led by Armenia is beneficial for everyone."

Cavusoglu also put forth baseless claims that Armenia attempted to "transport weapons to Nagorno-Karabakh."
