What is the reason behind the political decision to dismiss the commander of the border troops of the National Security Service (NSS)? This was noted in a post on Facebook by Tigran Abrahamyan, the secretary of the ‘Honorary’ faction in the National Assembly.

He specifically stated: ‘Just like during the 44-day war and the subsequent Azerbaijani attacks, the political authorities are shaping a circle of “responsible” individuals, quickly dismissing them from positions, and in some cases, initiating legal processes against them. The aim is singular: to remove the flow of criticism and blame from themselves as much as possible, distributing it among the lower ranks and especially within the military circles.’

This is accompanied by an active propaganda from grotesque figures chosen from within the ranks of power, who rush from podium to podium and microphone to microphone in an attempt to justify the political authorities and shift the responsibility without verdict onto others. The term ‘others’ is relative and changes according to political expediency.

With hostility towards its own people, the government continues to dismantle, hand over, and record new losses.
