Major Traffic Accident in Syunik Region: Injuries Reported

On April 13, at 16:36, the Syunik regional crisis management center received a report of a traffic accident on the G_orhayk-Tzghuk highway. There are injuries.

A firefighting and rescue unit from the Ministry of Emergency Situations has been dispatched to the scene. It has been confirmed that a 'GAZ Sobol' vehicle (driver: A. H., born in 1985) collided with a 'Shacman' truck (driver: H. S., born in 1996) at the 28th km of the Sisian-Yerevan section of the M-2 highway, rolling about 20 meters into the adjacent ravine.

Before the arrival of the rescuers, five injured individuals were hospitalized. The rescuers have disconnected the vehicles' power supply.
