Why Authorities Did Not Construct Our Section of the Road in Time: Ohanyan
“According to my information, the issue arose during the adjustment of positions, the implementation of certain improvements to engineering structures, and equipment. The published video shows how Azerbaijanis approach and engage in provocative actions,” said Seyran Ohanyan, the head of the Armenia parliamentary 'Hayastan' faction and former Minister of Defense, during a press briefing today.
“Experience shows that although there are discussions about the decline in the combat readiness of the armed forces since the 44-day war, nevertheless, in certain local areas, some of our servicemen are fulfilling their duties and displaying heroism. However, with respect to yesterday's incident, we have certain problems since it occurred within the corridor linking Armenia to Artsakh,” Ohanyan added. He recalled that the document signed on November 9, 2020, stipulated the development of a road project within three years, followed by the construction of an alternative road.
Ohanyan raised the question: why did the authorities fail to construct our section of the road in a timely manner?
