Russia Requests Clarification from Armenia: Zakharova

“Moscow has requested clarification from Yerevan regarding participation in joint exercises with NATO,” said Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during a briefing on Wednesday.

“We have asked our Armenian partners for official clarifications regarding their participation in NATO exercises. After receiving a response, we will determine our reaction,” she stated.

“Of course, Armenia’s refusal to conduct CSTO exercises on its territory is unfortunate and does not contribute to strengthening regional security,” the diplomat added.
