Video: Camera Traps in Khosrov Reserve Capture Brown Bear Again
The "Khosrov Forest" State Reserve, in collaboration with the Armenian branch of the World Wildlife Fund, has once again captured footage of a brown bear using camera traps as part of ongoing monitoring efforts in the reserve. The video has been shared on the reserve's Facebook page.
The footage shows the bear playing and scratching its back. This amusing video has been well-received by users, who are actively sharing it.
It’s important to remember that the brown bear, listed in the Red Book of Animals of the Republic of Armenia, is protected under Armenian criminal law. Killing a brown bear can result in penalties ranging from a fine of 400-600 times the minimum wage or imprisonment for 2-3 months, along with restitution of damages between 1 to 5 million drams.
