US Spied on Vladimir Zelensky: What We Know
The United States has also spied on Vladimir Zelensky, according to CNN, citing secret Pentagon documents that have been published online.
"One document reveals that the United States has surveilled Zelensky," says the network's statement.
According to CNN, a source close to Zelensky was not surprised by the situation, calling it “expected.” The reports based on electronic intelligence suggest that in late February, Zelensky “proposed to strike Russian troop locations in the Rostov region” using drones, as Ukraine lacks long-range weapons capable of reaching such areas.
Last week, American media discovered over a hundred secret documents on social media. Several of these pertain to military assistance provided to Ukraine by the US and its allies, as well as preparations for Kyiv's counteroffensive. Others contain information regarding the Middle East and China, as well as surveillance on partners. This incident is described as the largest leak of secrets since Edward Snowden.
