Leaked Pentagon Documents May Hinder U.S. Aid to Ukraine, Media Reports
The leak of classified Pentagon documents could complicate U.S. support for Ukraine. This was reported by Bloomberg. The leak is described as the largest in a decade involving allegedly secret U.S. documents and has prompted an official investigation by the Pentagon, potentially obstructing U.S. aid to Ukraine just prior to an attack from Kyiv, the outlet noted.
The New York Times reported that the documents, dated from early March, were supposedly circulated on "Russian government-affiliated Telegram channels." Dmitry Peskov, spokesperson for the Russian president, responded to questions about the leak by stating that Russia has no doubts that the U.S. and NATO are directly or indirectly involved in the conflict.
It is noteworthy that the highly sensitive Pentagon documents, which recently surfaced on social media, reveal the extent of U.S. intelligence operations that monitor not only adversaries but also key allies.
