The West is 'Hysterically Responding': Peskov

The press secretary of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, has stated that the West is "hysterically responding" to Russia's plans to deploy nuclear weapons in Belarus.

According to him, Western countries "forget the topic of American weapons" in Europe but are prone to a "hysterical reaction" regarding Russia's plans to place nuclear weapons in Belarus.

It should be recalled that President Vladimir Putin had previously announced that Russia would deploy tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus.
