Crimea Struck by Missile: Air Defense System Operated
Ukraine has launched an attack on Crimea, activating its air defense systems.
“A missile fired from Ukraine was intercepted over Feodosia,” stated the 'Governor of Crimea' Aksyonov.
Earlier, Aksyonov's advisor Oleg Kryuchkov reported that “debris from the Ukrainian missile intercepted by air defense fell in one of the residential areas of Crimea.” No information has been reported regarding damage or casualties, he noted.
The direct distance from the Ukrainian Tuzlov test site, where the missile was launched, to Feodosia is 415 km. The missile was intercepted by the S-300 system.
Previously, the Ukrainian Armed Forces had attempted to strike Crimea with their 'Grom-2' missile.
