You Can Enter freely in Tegh, but You Cannot Advance. Council Member
Residents of Tegh community in Syunik Province are facing a severe social situation. This was stated today by Masis Zeynalyan, a member of the Tegh community council from the ‘Country of Life’ party, during a conversation with journalists.
“Most of the village worked in Artsakh, and now they are left unemployed, burdened by debts, and unable to do anything,” he said.
Zeynalyan reported that currently it is possible to enter Tegh freely, but they are not allowed to go towards the pastures, as most of them are under enemy control. “We have become prisoners on our own land. Specifically, I cannot enter my own land according to the cadastral records. The enemy is on that land. They have already carried out construction work, set up tents, and raised their flag,” said the council member.
He noted that he has also paid taxes for that land in accordance with the law.

It should be noted that on April 6, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that work is underway to clarify the deployment points of border guards in the Tegh-Kornidzor section, and the situation has somewhat improved.
