VIDEO: Israeli Shoots Child Amid Al-Aqsa Mosque Raid
Massive clashes have erupted between police and Arab residents in Israeli cities. Israeli security forces are forcibly evacuating worshippers from the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, as reported by RT.
Near the Qalandia checkpoint, located north of Jerusalem, exchanges of gunfire have begun between Palestinians and Israeli security forces. During the raid, an Israeli individual shot at a child during the protests. Reports indicate that the teenager has survived, with the bullet striking his shoulder.
Footage shared on social media shows protesters carrying the schoolboy in their arms, while the shooter can be seen holstering his weapon and leaving the scene.
It has been noted that protests have continued for two days now. The Agence France-Presse reports that at least 350 people have been arrested at the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, citing the Israeli police.
Earlier reports have indicated that nearly 100 Palestinians were injured during clashes with Israeli security forces at the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Riyad al-Ashqar, a representative of the committee on Palestinian prisoners, informed reporters that Israel has arrested more than 200 Palestinians as a result of the incursions at Al-Aqsa. Israeli actions have already been condemned by both Jordan and Egypt.
