Aliyev Closes Iranian School in Baku
The Aliyev regime has once again escalated tensions against Iran, further straining relations between the two neighboring countries. The ‘Azerbaijani Research Center’ Telegram channel reports that Baku is attempting to close the Iranian school located in Azerbaijan.
It has been reported that teachers from the Baku Iranian school have been arrested and taken to the immigration office. The channel states, “If the teachers of the Baku Iranian school are dismissed, this school will be closed, and the children of Iranians residing in Baku, as well as the children of state officials from embassies and consulates, will have to return to Iran to continue their education.”
The Azerbaijani authorities justify their illegal actions against the Iranian school in Baku by claiming that the teachers’ work visas have not been renewed.
