Washington and Kyiv Discuss Possibility of Ukrainian Gas Production

Washington is discussing with Kyiv the possible ways to support Ukraine in the exploitation of gas fields. This was announced by U.S. Deputy Secretary of Energy David Turcotte during a press briefing.

The Deputy Secretary emphasized that Ukraine has natural gas reserves, and the two countries have had bilateral discussions regarding the further development of relevant fields. "First and foremost, this is in the interest of the Ukrainian people and for ensuring their energy security," said Turcotte.
