Video: Azerbaijanis Force Armenian Women and Children Off Bus, Insult and Threaten Them - David Babayan
Today we reported that yesterday, on April 4, a group of Armenians from Artsakh found themselves trapped while traveling from Goris to Stepanakert. Some Azerbaijanis had stormed the vehicle transporting them, the situation escalated to the point where 4 Armenians felt unwell, 3 of whom fainted.
Azerbaijani media is spreading information aimed at concealing the brutality of their country's representatives, claiming that they transported the fainted Armenians to a hospital in Stepanakert and provided first aid, while failing to mention the circumstances that led them to that condition. The political practice characteristic of Azerbaijan continues here as well: provoking, causing harm, and then attempting to present themselves as benevolent and friendly.
Auroranews spoke with David Babayan, advisor to the President of Artsakh, about the incident. Babayan shared remarkable and gruesome details with us.
“A terrible and disgusting phenomenon has occurred. Those armed Azerbaijani units stopped the vehicle carrying women and children, forced the people out, insulted them, and threatened them; several individuals simply felt unwell. They transported them (to the hospital), because something could have happened to the women and children (and then they would face the consequences). This is an expression of fascism and Nazism,” Babayan said.
When asked if there had been prior arrangements for their transport, he noted: “Of course, there had been prior arrangements, but what agreements, what laws, what norms are there for Azerbaijan? They have turned that society into a mob filled with hatred.”
Details can be found in the video.
It should be noted that yesterday, Russian peacekeepers attempted to transport 27 citizens from Goris, Armenia, to Artsakh, but Azerbaijani “eco-activists” blocked the passage of vehicles at a section of the Goris-Stepanakert highway. Due to the intervention of Azerbaijanis at the scene, the condition of four of our citizens worsened.
