VIDEO: 100 Palestinians Injured in Clashes at Al-Aqsa Mosque
Nearly 100 Palestinians were injured on Wednesday during clashes at Jerusalem's Al-Aqsa Mosque with Israeli police. According to Al Mayadeen, over 400 individuals were detained as a result of the raid.
Earlier, the WAFA agency reported, citing sources, that Israeli forces had stormed the mosque on Tuesday evening using stun grenades, tear gas, rubber bullets, and batons. According to the Palestinian Red Crescent, police obstructed medics from reaching the site.
Palestinian media indicate that protests have erupted in several cities of the West Bank following the raid. Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammed Shtayyeh stated that the actions at Al-Aqsa Mosque are a “grave crime against worshippers.” Jordan and Egypt have already condemned Israel's actions.
