Israeli Police Arrests 350 People at Al-Aqsa Mosque
At least 350 people have been arrested at the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, according to Agence France-Presse, citing Israeli police.
“More than 350 people have been arrested in the Jerusalem Al-Aqsa complex,” the statement reads.
Earlier reports indicated that around 100 Palestinians had been injured during clashes with Israeli security forces at the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Riyad al-Ashkar, a representative of the Committee on Palestinian Prisoners, informed journalists that as a result of the Israeli raid at Al-Aqsa, more than 200 Palestinians have been arrested.
Israel's actions have already been condemned by Jordan and Egypt.
